We purchased your ‘thesimple’ theme for our new website. And when we tried to import the content onto our server. The progress got to 95#% and then failed.
We tried it once more and it did the same thing. So we then tried it on another server of ours and again not working.
Creating the website without the dummy content will be difficult.
Can someone help?
please try to increase the wordpress memory limit first. This is a common issue when there is not enough memory and execution time limit to load the entire dummy data. See this section of the documentation for more details: http://thesimple.ellethemes.com/documentation/main.html#requirements
Let us know.
We have tried the suggestions you have given and none of them worked.
Is there anyway for you to have a look at this?
Sure there is. If your site is online, just send us some valid wordpress credentials in a private reply.
So we can check this closely.
There is an authentication required before getting to the wp login. Can you share the login credentials for this as well>
Were you able to look into this?
No worries. I see the content has been imported. You have 169 pages created. You can see them in Pages. The home page and blog is also set up in General Options > Select Special Pages.
In the home page you only needed to set up the slider. I added it. To change to another slider, just go to page’s options > General Settings > Slider Options.
This is the demo of the page you had set up as home page: http://thesimple.ellethemes.com/home-portfolio-studio/
and this is your homepage: http://relaunch.8-digital.tech/
Most of the images are not included in the dummy data import in order to avoid having a larger package that would require more memory and file upload limit. You can use your own licensed images or download them from the online demo.
Please let me know if this is what you wanted and if there is anything you need to change.
