Super ! Just to be clear, what are the practical steps to make another homepage in French ? Do I create another page or just translate the original homepage in English ? Can you just give some short instructions on how to go about ?
I see in the first screenshot an option <General Settings><Page Options & Style> where can i find that in the menu structure and should i also set that up for the page in French ?
Hi, another caveat presented itself… changed the default language to Dutch and now all the sudden my language switcher in the Onero main menu at the top of the site has dissapeared. Please help. Thanks.
Moreover, my client testimonials in Dutch are not visible on the Dutch homepage although they are translated…
UPDATE: the language switcher (in the main Onero menu a the top of the page) disappears when we set the default language to Dutch but when set to English it suddenly reappears… At the bottom of the page, the language switcher is still visible in the footer and works neatly. Also, the testimonials dissapear in Dutch when Dutch is selected as default language. Workaround: we have set English as the default language, then everything is fine.2 months, 1 week ago MirelaKeymaster
-If you add another language to the site, then you need to translate one of the already present homepages into that language. The new homepage is a new and independent page. You you need to set it up from start.
Please make sure to have every element translated before switching to the other language. You have to translate testimonials, posts, pages, first in all languages.
After this, go to one of the languages panel, add or edit the menu by adding the translated pages.
Can you please check the credentials? i tried to login and check on the default language issue, but the password is no longer valid.
